The next Treefrog game will be P.I. – a deduction game for two to five players. You take on the role of a hard boiled private investigator, working in one of the toughest cities in America. As always, your latest case is not as simple as you thought. Somehow you must work out what the real crime was, who did it, and where they are hiding out. The twist in this game is that each player has their own case to solve, with the player to their right knowing what case that is. Thus as well as being told when a fact is correct you are also told when you are close to being right. The game is divided into three mini-games, each one taking about 15 minutes to play. P.I. is low on rules but high on mental challenge. If you love problem solving then P.I. is the game for you.
P.I. will be launched at the Spiel in Essen this October. Hopefully it will be available in shops soon after that, although I do not have shipping times to America yet. The final price is still to be announced.
